Female Child Voiceovers

Commercials animations and more

Looking for a talented young voice for your next production? Meet two young British voiceover artists with a love of storytelling, a flair for character and experience bringing scripts to life.

I’m lucky to be a mummy to two super-talented female child voiceovers – the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!

Ada is 7 years old, has a natural gift for performance and character and is as sassy as the day is long.

Matilda is 12, an avid reader, feels the world deeply and really connects with the content she’s voicing.

Both girls have active licences to work from the local authority.

Young voices for animation, gaming and more

Young voiceover talent can bring an unmistakable sense of authenticity to a production. Whether you need a believable child character, a lively young protagonist or a natural conversational delivery, the right performance can make all the difference.

Depending on the brief, their voices may be suited to:

  • Animation and cartoons – memorable characters with personality and expression.
  • Video games – young protagonists, supporting characters and immersive character dialogue.
  • Children’s audiobooks and audio drama – expressive storytelling that draws listeners into the world of the story.
  • Commercial voiceover – natural, engaging young voices for advertising and branded content.
  • Educational content and e-learning – age-appropriate voices for children’s learning resources.
  • Apps, toys and interactive experiences – playful, characterful performances that bring products to life.

Every project is different. If you’re casting a young voice for a particular role, get in touch to discuss the brief and hear whether either voice could be a good fit.

Professional voiceover support, from first enquiry to final recording

As a professional voiceover artist and actress, I understand what producers need from a recording session: a performance that fits the brief, clear communication and a straightforward production process. I help my girls navigate the process, understand the rules of the game and help you and them manage the recording session.

As a mum, I also understand the importance of balancing professional opportunities with children’s wellbeing, school commitments and the practicalities of working with young talent.

All enquiries and bookings are managed through me as their parent. I can help coordinate demo requests, auditions and recording arrangements, discuss the requirements of your production and establish the most suitable recording approach for the project. We record from my broadcast quality home studio and I can direct the session or connect to you live so you can direct and listen in too.

Whether you’re a casting director, production company, game developer, animation studio or creative agency, I’ll help make the process as clear and straightforward as possible.

Child Voiceover FAQ

How much does a child voiceover cost in the UK?

Child voiceover rates depend on the project, the length of the script, the recording requirements and how the finished audio will be used. A short animation or video game recording may have different requirements from a national advertising campaign.

Every project is quoted individually, taking account of the recording session, usage, licensing and any specific production requirements. Get in touch for a quote tailored to your brief.

What types of projects can Ada and Matilda voice?

Young voices can bring authenticity, personality and emotional depth to all sorts of productions. Depending on the role and vocal requirements, Ada and Matilda may be suitable for animation, video games, children’s audiobooks, audio drama, commercials, educational content, apps and other character-based projects.

Listen to their individual demo reels to get a feel for their voices and discuss your casting requirements with me.

Can I audition Ada or Matilda for a specific role?

Yes. If you have a particular character or project in mind, get in touch with the script, character description and any relevant direction. I can discuss suitability and availability and arrange an audition or sample recording where appropriate.

Can I direct a child voiceover session remotely?

Of course! We can discuss the best approach for your production, including how to give direction, review takes and achieve the performance you’re looking for. I do my best to arrange sessions outside of school hours and I’ll always be present to manage the tech and help with direction and managing the session. I know the kids best, so I can often offer the best advice and support to them during the session to get the best performance for you.

Can Ada and Matilda record from home?

Absolutely. We recording from my home studio. External studio sessions can also be discussed where required.

Let me know your technical specifications, preferred recording setup and deadline so that the most appropriate arrangement can be agreed.

How quickly can a child voiceover be recorded?

Turnaround depends on the script, the length and complexity of the recording, availability and any audition or approval requirements. Short scripts may be straightforward to arrange, while larger projects can require more preparation and direction.

Share your deadline when you enquire, and I will confirm what is realistic for the project.

What audio formats can you supply?

Delivery formats will depend on the recording setup and production requirements. WAV files are commonly requested for professional post-production, while MP3 and other formats may be suitable for certain projects.

Please include your preferred format, sample rate, bit depth and any editing or file-splitting requirements in your brief so these can be confirmed before recording.

Who manages bookings and communication?

All enquiries, auditions and bookings are managed by me (Claire Wyatt) as the girls’ parent. I’m your point of contact for scripts, scheduling, recording arrangements and project requirements, helping keep communication straightforward for producers and casting teams.

Are the girls available for video games and animation?

Please get in touch with details of the character, project, recording requirements and intended schedule. I can discuss whether Ada or Matilda may be suitable and confirm availability.

For productions involving ongoing dialogue, character development or repeat recording sessions, it’s helpful to share as much information about the role and schedule as possible.

How do I book a young voiceover artist?

Start by listening to Ada and Matilda’s demo reels. Then contact me with a short description of your project, the type of voice you’re looking for, the script or estimated word count, your deadline and details of the intended usage.

I’ll help you work out the next steps, whether you need an audition, a quote or a recording session.
